About

I'm Sergey Zelenov, a Senior Software Engineer at MongoDB. Outside of that, I design, build, and launch my own products — and I finish them.

The throughline is roughly a decade of work shipping real software: enterprise retail AI and infrastructure, B2B SaaS — including a product I co-founded, left after two years, and rebuilt solo — and, on my own time, consumer AR (InkStory, on an engine I wrote myself).

Earlier, the range was just as wide: geocoding for a mobility company, smart-TV development, and a retail ad network for Schwarz Group, Europe’s largest retailer.

The stack is rarely the point — I’ve shipped in JavaScript, Go, Python, and Scala, and reach for whatever a problem needs. What stays constant is the work: LLM agents, the APIs and infrastructure to run them in production, and dropping to native mobile when it matters. I previously taught and spoke on engineering.

I’m always up for comparing notes on hard problems. The fastest way to reach me is email.
