Before You Go

Exit-recovery for Shopify and Shopware that I co-founded the predecessor of, left, and rebuilt solo — cleaner and more principled.

Co-founder → left → rebuilt solo

30+ B2B clients across continents

I co-founded the company behind what is now Nunami, worked on it for two years, and left. Then I rebuilt the idea from scratch as Before You Go — and made deliberately different choices.

It shows departing shoppers a personalized, full-page product recommendation rendered natively in the merchant's own theme — not an external redirect, not a popup. Attribution is conservative and click-based, and pricing is a flat monthly fee instead of a commission. The reason is a principle I'll defend in writing: the only revenue worth optimizing for is incremental revenue. I even publish a transparent, non-adversarial comparison against my former company's product.

This is the founder story on the site: I can take a product from zero, and I'd rather build something honest than something that games an attribution dashboard.
